Independent financial advice

The Trustees cannot give you financial advice. If you are not sure what’s best for you, we strongly recommend you speak to an independent financial adviser (IFA). You can find a local IFA through the following website:

www.unbiased.co.uk

Pension scams

Pension scheme members have lost millions of pounds to scammers who promise they can access their retirement savings early or double their money. There is lots of information online about how to spot a pension scam.

Tax advice

The Trustees are not able to provide tax advice. Tax information can be obtained from:

MoneyHelper

This new service, introduced by the Government, combines the services previously provided by the Money Advice Service, the Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise.

It provides free guidance and information to help you manage your finances, including your pension. You can still make an appointment with Pension Wise to discuss your defined contribution pot. If you’re aged 50 or over, you would go to the MoneyHelper website to do this, or call 0800 138 9944.
